Demo has started. Old kitchen gone.

These bearing walls of exposed studs will get glu-lams over them. Then removed.

To get more interior volume we decide to remove the roof and ceiling and bring in new scissor trusses to have an interior vault.

Boom, goodbye old roof.

These old roof pieces need to be removed carefully due to electrical and other utilities strung in the attic.

The original roof was low slope as shown. At some point when they reroofed they built a second roof over the first to get more slope. Crazy.
